The world-famous performances of the Lipizzaners (the “Ballet of the White Stallions”) take place in the magnificent baroque winter riding school in the Hofburg, built between 1729 and 1735 under Charles VI. It truly is the most beautiful riding hall in the world!
The performances are the result of many years of training and intensive work by the riders and their Lipizzaner horses. The stormy young stallions enchant the audience just as much as the already fully trained school stallions who parade themselves in the school quadrille, in the schools both on and above ground, in the Pas de Deux and the Langen Zügel.
Enjoy the wonderful performance of the riders and their Lipizzaner horses in this atmosphere accompanied by classical Viennese music!
